Uniform Guidance Overview and Pre-Award Requirements
This module gives an overview of the Uniform Guidance and the pre-award requirements for Federal awarding agencies. This module covers subparts A through C of the Uniform Guidance.
Covered in this module are five sections starting with an overview on why the Uniform Guidance was developed and the shift from OMB Circulars, the organizational structure of the Uniform Guidance as well as DOL exceptions and technical corrections, key changes in the definitions, pre- award provisions for DOL recipients and sub-recipients and lastly the implementation process for DOL recipients and their subrecipients.
SMART - Strategies of sound grants management that comprises: Monitoring, Accountability, Risk Mitigation and Transparency which are found in the Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards 2 CFR Part 200 and 2 CFR 2900.
